SQD Architects has two distinct specialties:  Federal Design-Build and Hospitality Projects.

 

SQD Architects is a trusted design-build team member providing full-service A/E design services to Federal Construction Contractors.  Over the past 20 years we have completed an array of Federal projects via the Design-Build delivery method as Designer of Record (DOR).  We have a firm understanding of the challenges that Contractors face during the execution of these projects which is why we provide early pre-bid design assistance including; site visits, design requirements assessment and scope document, and preliminary design to assist you with your bids.  Our fees are not strictly based on a percentage of the construction budget but are based on the actual design required. 

 

We understand that the most competitive A/E fees can translate into more awards for you - our client.

 

As a Hospitality design specialist, we have designed projects from most major brands including; Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, and LaQuinta as well as select others.  We are well versed in the prototypes, design standards, and design processes for these brands.  We have also completed non-prototype and urban site-adaptation hotels and high-density luxury residential projects.  SQD Architects has designed multiple hotels in markets across the southwest United States.
